Oh, I don’t even know where to begin! This past weekend Caroline, Tate and I took a weekend trip to get our Abilene fix. We didn’t leave Dallas until around 4pm on Friday, so we didn’t have much planned for that night (little did I know!). We rolled in just in time to make it to Sharky’s before it closed. Thinking it would be a low-key night, I literally wore athletic shorts. So, Emily, Roefer, Tate and I are eating when our friends Bryan and Jill came to meet us. Everyone was acting really weird, and I didn’t know why. Finally, I looked over at Jill and she was hiding her hand between her legs. Her LEFT hand! Turns out, a few hours before, Bryan had proposed!!!!
I am beyond excited for my sweet friends. They are such an example of a godly relationship, and I can’t wait to see the way they glorify God with their marriage. March, hurry up!!
Naturally, we spent Saturday night celebrating their engagement. We went to the Home Place for dinner (it was delicious!) and then celebrated at Emily’s house.
I also spent the weekend seeing some of my favorite Siggies and friends who I miss so, so much. It was so good to see such sweet faces.

We also went to the Pumpkin Patch and did other cutesy things, but my camera battery died. Boo!
This weekend was such a great reminder of how special college friendships are. I am so thankful for the friendships I made, and I love spending time with those people.
