Sylvia's Wedding Weekend

A few weekends ago, I have the privilege of being a part of my sweet friend Sylvia's wedding. It was at the Don Strange Ranch in Boerne. *sidenote* After just a few days in that little town, I became obsessed.I can not wait to go back and walk around all the cute little shops and eat at the fun restaurants. JJ and I roadtripped to San Antonio, but pit stopped in Waco to try the highly recommended Cowboy coffee. Yum!

The weekend started with Sylvia's bridal luncheon at a cute little place called The Creek. That night, we had rehearsal followed by the country-themed rehearsal dinner. So cute!

The next day was showtime! I had so much fun helping Sylvia pull off her big day! Her and Ryan have so much love for each other, and their families, and that was evident to everyone that entire weekend. It was very special.

I loved spending the weekend with some old friends I hadn't seen in way too long! Love my sweet friends and love the new Mr. & Mrs. Mack!

Texas Sized Fun

The next weekend, my friends Ashley, Clint and I went to the state fair! It was the last weekend it was open, so we had to make sure and stop by for a visit. I think I have been to the state fair before, but it had been SO long, I really didn’t remember any of it—so it was fun to go with my friends for my second “first time.” Also, I rode the Dart for the first time too. I think I could probably be a fan of Dallas public transportation.

We got their super early, and of course, ate a corny dog for breakfast. We just spent the morning walking around looking at all the rides, the FOOD and all the awesome people.

My adventurous fried food find of the day? Fried Cookie Dough!! Now, my friends will tell you it wasn’t good, but please don’t believe them. It was heavenly.

Overall, it was a fun day with some fun people. And the best lemonade in the world! Until next year, Big Tex :)

Long Time No See

Well, it seems that life caught up with me and I got a wee bit behind on this precious little blog. Let me rewind to a few weeks back, and we can just pick up on where we left off :)

A few weekends ago, I got to spend the day with my aunt Sheila, cousin Jennifer and baby cousins Caroline and Andrew. Caroline is my sweet 6 year old cousin who has just started a new “sport”: cheerleading. We can debate whether or not cheerleading is a real sport all day long, but all I know is that, my little Caroline is the cutest little Aggie out there!

The game I went to, was Homecoming, so all the little girls had mums and it was just the cutest thing.

It was so much fun to spend the day with my family. And on top of that the Aggies won! They are definitely napping a spot in the SuperBowl…And yes, they really have one.

So thankful to be close to them again, and thankful for Saturdays spent catching up with the ones I love dearly. And eating nachos for breakfast.
